All about Kitchen Disco
Move your hips and shake your pips to a fantastic picture book to share at home.
This book was given out free as part of Time to Read (formerly Booktime) 2016.
Did you know that 30% of children in this country grow up in homes without a single book?
Through our Time to Read campaign, we will make sure that every Reception pupil in England has their own book to treasure and share with their family at home.
In September 2016, we sent out 700,000 free copies of the picture book Kitchen Disco by Clare Foges and illustrated by Al Murphy.
How to get hold of Kitchen Disco
We sent Kitchen Disco to schools between early September and the end of October 2016.
Children were asked to take the unopened pack home - inside, there was an important message for parents and carers.
