Arts Award

Arts Award is a national qualification which recognises children and young people's personal creative development.
Young people aged 7-25 can take part, and there are five different Arts Award levels: Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Four of these are also accredited qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Young people can gain an Arts Award in any area of the arts, including reading and creative writing. Activities in libraries, such as the Summer Reading Challenge, or author events can count towards an Arts Award.
Arts Award aims to help young people to develop as artists and arts leaders, building creativity, leadership and communication skills.
