National Bookstart Week 2011
21 January 2011
Join in our annual celebration of sharing stories, songs and rhymes
We hope you'll join us from 6–12 June 2011 for a week of celebrations – and this year's festival of Bookstart will be bigger and better than ever. This year's theme is All Aboard.
In 2010 our theme was At The Seaside and over 5,000 wonderful events were held for families up and down the country in bookshops, libraries and a range of other venues. You may have enjoyed taking part in the various exciting activies that took place including storytelling, rhymes, sing-alongs, games and much more.

We attended a Bookstart Picnic lase summer in Menston, and thought it was great! Will there be one this year?
I work at a Sure Start Children's Centre in Bolton and last year we recieved free rescources that the children really enjoyed. Are there any similar packs for this years Bookstart Week ? Or at least some posters, stickers so I can do a display to encourage awareness of Bookstart week ? Kind Regards, Karen
