Shadow Chancellor joins the Bookstart Bear at family event
Taking a day away from Westminster politics, Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls read classic story We're Going on a Bear Hunt to children at a library event to celebrate Bookstart.
Delighting the young children and their families, Ed even teamed up with the Bookstart Bear to lead everyone in singing 'The Wheels on the Bus', 'Wind the Bobbin Up' and 'Twinkle Twinkle' … complete with actions!
Ed, who is MP for Morley and Outwood, was at the event alongside journalist Polly Toynbee and local councillor Neil Dawson.
Thanks to local Bookstart coordinator Lorraine Lee and the staff at Morley library who made the day such a success and for all their work with families.
