Books we like: August 2012

There's something for everyone this month, with a host of great new books for teens, ranging from S J Kinkaid's exciting futuristic thriller Insignia to Sarah Mussi's new spin on paranormal romance, Angel Dust.

US author Sarah J Maas has created a heroine to be reckoned with in her high-octane fantasy Throne of Glass whilst Bethany Griffin paints a dark picture of a dystopian world ravaged by disease and political unrest in The Masque of the Red Death. Meanwhile, Cora Harrison and Theresa Breslin offer up two very different historical novels - Debutantes is a charming story of four sisters growing up in a crumbling mansion in the 1920s, whilst Spy for the Queen of Scots takes us into a world of intrigue, betrayal and suspicion in the court of Mary Queen of Scots.
