Youth in revolt (preview)

It's been a year since the riots swept through England. It's been a year of reflection, a year exploring the causes, a year of debate and comment. It's been a whole year. This year, we've celebrated the Diamond Jubilee, hosted the Olympics and witnessed the resurrection of The Stone Roses.

So, here at Booktrust, we thought we would give the site over to young people for the next fortnight to celebrate all things youth and books. We've got loads of content. We'll be re-highlighting the writing competition judged by Bali Rai during his residency. We've got interviews with authors like John Lucas. We have booklists. We're headed to Live Magazine to find out exactly what they do there. We are going to be celebrating all the things that make young people great and highlighting the positivity, authenticity and openness of teen fiction and non-fiction.
