Winnie's Dinosaur Day
by
Valerie Thomas
Illustrated by Korky Paul
Winnie the Witch is always resourceful. When she discovers that the local museum (which bears a striking resemblance to the Natural History Museum in London) is holding a competition to make a model of a dinosaur she realises that she can put her magic to good use. As a result not only does she win the prize but she ends up with a new pet who turns out to be very useful with the gardening.
Thomas and Paul have now been collaborating for over 25 years, but the Winnie stories feel just as individual and quirky as ever. Every spread is brimming with energetic, funny details, which make them perfect for exploring together. Long live Winnie the Witch!
