Dead to You

Sixteen-year-old Ethan returns to his family nine years after he was abducted from his front garden. His parents do all they can to help him familiarise with everyday life; but while Ethan struggles to remember what happened all those years ago, his younger brother harbours suspicion and resentment and inevitably tensions soon begin to show. If only Ethan could remember what happened to him...

This is an intriguing and disturbing story, which is genuinely difficult to put down. An underlying feeling of menace simmers as the reader is drawn in to Ethan’s story - hoping for him to remember something but at the same time not really wanting to find out the truth. This accomplished novel is a compelling and gripping read best suited to older teens and young adults.
