Who's in the Loo? (app)

by

Jeanne Willis

Illustrated by Adrian Reynolds

There's a queue for the loo and the children need to get in! Who can possibly be taking so long? Find out the answer in this mischevious picture book, which has now become a fun interactive app for iPad and iPhone. Children can choose whether to read Jeanne Willis's rhyming text for themselves, or to listen to the audio narration - and there are plenty of other activities to enjoy too, such as colouring and word games.

Although this may be a comparitively simple and straightforward translation of a popular picture book into a digital format, Willis's lively story and Reynold's witty illustrations work particularly well on the screen - and as ever, the cheeky humour of the story will ensure that this will appeal enormously to young readers.
