The Blood Keeper

Mab is the Deacon – keeper of the Blood Magic. Growing up on an isolated farm, she has few friends, but has a strong sense of purpose, using the magic of the natural world to heal and protect. Will is a young man seeking direction. As soon as he meets Mab, he is drawn to her by her beauty and her determination. But then, Mab's attempt to destroy a curse goes dangerously wrong, and Will and Mab find themselves drawn back together. Mab must work out how to defeat a powerful evil magician without destroying herself or Will in the process.

In this magical tale of romance and witchcraft, Mab's story and that of her grandmother are told in parallel until they finally connect. The tension builds slowly but inexorably until this dark story  reaches its terrifying climax.
