Cinderelephant

by Emma Dodd

Prince Trunky is looking for a bride, and all the girls in the neighbourhood are invited to his ball - but poor Cinderelephant is stuck at home cooking and cleaning for the Warty Sisters. Luckily the Fairy Godmouse turns up in the nick of time to conjour up a white stretch limo, glittery pink gown, and of course, sparkly magic shoes. As soon as Prince Trunky sets eyes on Cinderelephant, he knows he's finally found someone who's exactly his type - but will he be able to track her down again after the ball?

This lively retelling of a favourite fairy-tale from Emma Dodd is sure to delight young readers. With fun, brightly-coloured illustrations and plenty of tongue-in-cheek humour, Cinderelephant is a lovely picture book about an unconventional fairy-tale princess, which will help children to understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
