Spike in Space

Spike Enson is beginning a new life on the planet Aledela. His adoptive parents are aliens (complete with green skin) and are taking him and his brother to live on their home planet. Once there Spike learns that new beginnings in space are much the same as new beginnings on Earth. Trying to survive fitting in, avoiding the school bully and an encounter with monster poo, Spike has his work cut out for him. Luckily, despite being aliens, his family are there to support him whatever planet they are inhabiting.

This touching story of changes, new beginnings and dealing with difference is ideal for sharing with young children facing new experiences or beginning a new school year.
