The Baby That Roared

by

Simon Puttock

Illustrated by Nadia Shireen

Mr and Mrs Deer don’t have any children, but they would love to have a baby of their own to look after. When a mysterious bundle arrives on their doorstep they are overjoyed, even though they are not quite sure how to look after the new addition to their family.

But despite cuddles, food, and a new nappy, the baby won’t stop roaring, so they have to call in help from family and friends.

But why does everyone vanish after trying to help? And why does the baby keep on roaring?

This is a heartwarming and humorous story about new arrivals, families and caring that should appeal to all eagle-eyed children and their parents, with gorgeous, sympathetic illustrations to match.
