Shrinking Violet

Violet is longing to be tall enough to ride the Plunger, the scariest roller-coaster around.  But when she gets over-excited she finds herself shrinking down to the size of a fishfinger! When she tells her family, no one believes her, except for Gran who was also a 'shrinker' when she was a child.

At first the shrinking is very irritating, but it soon comes in useful when Gran is accused of stealing jewellery from other residents at her retirement home. Violet can investigate her suspects, Ratty-Riley and Barry Bling, without them ever seeing her.

The first in a new series, this is a light yet action-packed story with lots of funny incidents.
