When Jake receives a mysterious text, he assumes his friend Roddy is just playing tricks. But the increasingly desperate messages are from an unknown girl called Alice.  And they seem to come from his own phone, which feels icy every time she contacts him. The texts vanish as soon as Jake reads them, so Roddy thinks he's making it all up. Following days of torrential rain and flooding, Alice phones to say she has been swept away by the water. She is trapped down a storm drain and only Jake can rescue her.
