A Day with the Animal Doctors

by Sharon Rentta

Terence the Tapir accompanies his doctor mum to the animal hospital for the day. It is very busy and there are lots of patients including a leopard which has lost its spots, a knotted snake and animals 'stuck in things'. Terence does his best to help which keeps the ever present team of cleaning mice busy.

This is a lovely, busy book full of activity and humour as Terence helps all sorts of animal patients from babies to the elderly who 'sleep a lot' and 'knit'. A wonderful book to share, there is lots to discuss and observe in the detailed, funny illustrations depicting familiar scenes and behaviour, ensuring children will want to return to it again and again.
