Sir Scallywag and the Golden Underpants

by

Giles Andreae

Illustrated by Korky Paul

When King Colin’s golden underpants go missing, he sends young Sir Scallywag on a quest to find them. Although only a small 6-year-old boy, Scallywag is determined to please the King and successfully conquers the evil giant who stole them. Much to everyone’s shock, he retrieves back the golden underpants – proving even the smallest of people can save the day.

Andreae successfully manages to capture the imaginations of young children in this rhyming, comic-like illustrated book. Full of adventure and with its comical situations and energetic and colourful illustrations, the reader can happily delve right into Scallywag’s quest.
