Taney sees thing – before they actually happen: it’s a gift, inherited from her dead mother and it’s always made her feel different. Working as a housemaid in a grand Dublin house, Taney’s gift helps to uncover some missing jewellery – and the thief: suddenly she’s in demand, foretelling futures for the grand ladies of Dublin.
