Mrs Muffly’s Monster

by Sarah Dyer

Mrs Muffly has always inspired curiosity among her neighbours but recently her strange behaviour has led to them reaching only one conclusion - Mrs Muffly has been keeping a huge monster in her house which has finally eaten her up!

Why else would she need to buy mountains of sugar (if not to sweeten him up?) and 58 packs of butter (if not to soften his rough feet?) and what else could explain the smoke and strange smells coming from the house? On the day of the Giant Cake Competition, Mrs Muffly emerges uneaten and in possession of a monster of a very different kind.

A charming and beautifully illustrated picture book which includes a recipe for baking your own monster cake.
