Seahorse Stars: The First Pearl

Before becoming a Seahorse Star, Cammie must earn six proficiency pearls as a member of the Pearlies, the waviest club in Rainbow Reef. She is so excited and can’t wait to complete her first task – a test of her camping skills. Despite assiduous preparation, Cammie’s nerves get the better of her and she fails to make the grade but when an unexpected storm separates her from the rest of the group, she is able to demonstrate her true abilities.

The first of a new early reader series set among the seahorse population of a coral reef, the story is based on Rainbows and Brownies so will strike a chord with many young girls and is ideal for building confidence in independent reading.
