Ten Little Babies
by
Rose Impey
Illustrated by Nicola Smee
Ten little babies play on the grass in the garden with their toys. One by one the babies use their toys to make their escape. They crawl and slide, and even float and sail away, until there are none left.
But look closely at the garden and we can find them all again, hiding in the picture. On the final page the babies are all asleep in their cots and we can count them again to check they’re all there.
There are lots of chances to count out loud and join in with the rhyming text in this counting book for the very young. Children will enjoy looking for the babies too in this charming and gently humorous picture book.
