Have You Ever Ever Ever?

Illustrated by Emma Chichester Clark
An essential book for everyone, which expounds the importance of libraries, books and the wonders which lie within them!
On the left of each spread we see a largely monochrome image of a frustrated boy in a playpark backed by high rise buildings, while facing each is a vibrantly coloured picture of nursery rhyme characters, each accompanied by the rhyming text asking if the boy has ever seen them. His answer is an emphatic ‘no’, but we also see Mother Goose appearing in the sky above him, and she leads him to the final spread, the library, where he meets them all, and runs off with a pile of books, shouting ‘yes!’.
Brilliant!
