Christmas at the Toy Museum: a fairytale
by David Lucas
It is Christmas Eve and no-one has left any presents for the toys in the toy museum! Bunting, the toy cat, suggests they wrap each other up and give themselves to each other. Everyone is wrapped except for Bunting, so he climbs into a box and shuts his eyes tight.
On Christmas morning the toys unwrap each other. Bunting is unwrapped, but there aren’t any parcels left for him to open. He has no present! The kind angel on the top of the tree flies down with a special box for Bunting. When he opens it, out pops a wishing star. Bunting wishes that Christmas Day could last forever – and so it does!
A charming Christmas story with evocative illustrations.
