Monster Swap: Robbie and Voxy
by
Johnny Zucker
Illustrated by Tony Ross
Robbie and Voxy are very different. For a start, Robbie is a boy. Voxy is a ten foot tall monster covered in blue fur, who can pick Robbie up with his great, big ears. But when the two are selected to take part in the first ever human-monster exchange visits, they become the best of friends.
Along the way, Robbie gets himself caught up in a monster battle no one can remember why they’re fighting, and Voxy causes havoc on a camping holiday. There’s lots to spark the imagination here as Robbie finds out about the monsters’ hobbies, habits and favourite foods, and there are plenty of laughs at Voxy’s impressions of strange human behaviour. A lively, imaginative tale with lots of laughs.
