Letters from an Alien Schoolboy

by Ros Asquith

Flowkwee is on a mission – he has to disguise himself as a schoolboy and spy on young earthlings, in order to help his father with his research. He narrates the story through a series of letters to his friends back home on planet Faa, in which he describes humans, their odd behaviour and their curious appearance: only one head, two peepers, and no aerials, lights, whirlers or even winkers!

Letters from an Alien Schoolboy is full of hilarious observation – think Adrian Mole from an alien’s perspective. Both girls and boys will enjoy the black and white illustrations and understand the underlying moral about the importance of fitting in and belonging. Look out for further books in the series.
