Six Days
by Philip Webb
In grim, post-apocalyptic London, the search is on for the ‘artefact’, an undefined and mysterious relic from the distant past which holds the key to the future of the earth and mankind.
Cass and Wilbur work as ‘scavs’ for the Vlad army, dismantling the city piece by piece and battling with deprivation and danger every day. When two strangers arrive from another world and time, their lives are turned upside down as they are engulfed by a battle of an entirely different kind.
An imaginative, if rather bleak, sci-fi fantasy for young adults with some graphic content which may not be suitable for younger readers.
