A set of tapes have been found, containing the words of regular teenager Kyle Straker and his experience of what happened the moment the world changed – subtly but chillingly and forever.

0.4 sets out his words in the format once known as ‘a book’. It also has editor’s notes for guidance – on words long forgotten, such as 'golfing', 'hieroglyphic's and 'Teletubbies'! For those in the new world nothing may seem different, but for those left behind something deadening has occurred.

This science fiction fantasy takes humans beyond digital and asks us to do some serious thinking as to where past and the future overlap; what is real and what is a dream. There is humour here, but for lovers of the genre a truly scary sense of threat.
