In Fizzypop Frankie's best friend Jem is the focus of Frankie's efforts when she decides she would like to find out more about the idenity of her biological mother. Frankie can barely contain her excitment at the chance to help reunite mother and daughter, but her enthusiasm, while well intended, leads her to jump to conclusions.

 

This fizzy book deals lightly with themes of adoption, family and friendship making for a bright and bubbly read.

    Jean Ure was born in Surrey and, when growing up, knew that she was going to be a writer or a ballet dancer. She began writing when she was six years old and had her first book published while she was still at school. Jean is a vegan and animal lover.
