Hush, Baby, Hush!

A collection of 29 lullabies from around the world featuring rhymes in both the original language, and in English. The translations keep the rhythm and flow so either version is perfect to be read aloud to a baby or toddler.

It is clear that Kathy Henderson feels passionate about lullabies as she has collected a wide range, and she encourages the reader to use their own child's name, passing on the lullabies to a new generation.

The illustrations are beautiful and vibrant and together with the text readers will get a flavour of the different countries featured. The pages of music at the end containing melodies and simple guitar chords bring another element of interaction to the book.
