The Three Little Pigs

by Ian Beck

The classic tale of three enterprising pigs and their experiments with wolf-proof architecture. One pig builds a house of straw, the next a house of sticks and the final pig chooses a house of bricks. Soon a sly wolf comes to test each home and see if he can huff and puff his way to a tasty meal.

Ian Beck retells the tale with humour and style but is sensible enough to let the wonderful story work its magic. Fun, colourful illustrations help young children keep up with the action and parents and children alike will enjoy joining in with the catchphrases as the wolf huffs and puffs and the pigs swear by the hairs of their chinny chin chins. A winning version of a timeless tale.
