Victoria Goes to Brazil
by Maria de Fatima Campos
Victoria has grown up in London, but her mother is originally from Brazil. This photographic book sees the little girl travelling to visit her mother’s country of birth for the first time. She discovers the clothes, the customs, the cuisine, watches a national procession and even visits a shelter for street children. All the events are beautifully recorded in photographs by her mother. Victoria happens to have Down’s Syndrome.
