A Christmas Journey

by Brian Wildsmith

It's a long way to Bethlehem, so Joseph and Mary leave their cat and dog with a kind neighbour - but the animals are lonely and run away to find them.

On the way they help a fox in a fix, a trapped theiving goat and a bear dangling from a tree, failing to feast on a honeycomb. These rescued reprobates join the cat and dog on their travels and are shown the way by a flock of helpful sheep. Mary, and her baby Jesus, are delighted to see them.

Vivid illustrations with lots of colourful birds, flowers and animals will entertain even the smallest child in this very special four-legged version of the best known Bible story.
