Something Wickedly Weird: The Curse of the Wolf

Book four of the Something Wickedly Weird series

by Chris Mould

Chris Mould's funny, creepy illustrations perfectly match his diabolically hilarious plots, and in his Something Wickedly Weird series the combination creates the perfect spinetingling atmosphere for KS2 readers.

Stanley Buggles has faced many threats in his attempt to prove his claim to his true inheritance on Crampton Rock, and in the fourth of the six short novels which currently form the series he fights to outwit the dastardly demonic Darkling family, who in turn plot to kill Stanley in some ingenious ways. Mould also provides a map of the Island, extra sketches, and a website for the series.

An excellent series to engage newly confident readers and tempt them to venture further into Mould’s work and wider afield into adventure/historical/supernatural writing.
