The Night Iceberg
by Helen Stephens
Tofta is getting cross with her new baby brother. He gets all the attention, despite the fact that he chews her toy Jack Rabbit. Tofta has found that sharing is really hard to get used to.
One night a beautiful iceberg floats past Tofta’s window and she makes the decision to jump on and float away to sea. But she has a sinking feeling when she hears a strange noise – now 500 penguins have joined her iceberg and want to share her Jack Rabbit and tin of sardines!
Tofta is surprised to discover that sometimes sharing can be fun – especially if it involves games and stories with an army of penguins. But she is starting to get tired and homesick. Will her penguin friends guide her home?
This charming, gorgeously illustrated tale is inspired by the penguins at London Zoo. You will be delighted.
