Inside My Head

by Jim Carrington

Zoe is new to Norfolk and to Wendham High School. She really misses her friends in urban Morden.

Gary has been excluded for hitting Knaggs, the class bully, who called him a cheese puff. Several times.

New girl Zoe doesn't like bullies and takes Gary's side. Knaggs' friend David is feeling guilty for siding with a bully. He realises that Gary can't control his anger and that Knaggs enjoys baiting him. David wishes he had the strength of character to stand up to Knaggs and stand up for Gary.

Zoe, Gary and David are three very different teenagers with three contrasting perspectives on their lives at school. Friendship, family, fear and loyalty are impolrtant themes in this contemporary story.
