A Song for Jamela

Jamela is a young girl who lives with her family in South Africa. One day she goes to help out at Aunt Beauty’s hair salon.

She is overjoyed when the star of TV’s Afro-Idols comes in to have her hair styled before her evening performance.

Miss Chaka Chaka dozes in the chair while her hair is washed and combed. Just as Aunt Beauty takes up a razor, Jamela chases a fly and swats it on Aunty. She accidentally shaves off a swathe of Miss Chaka’s hair!
