My Mum has X-ray Vision

by

Angela McAllister
Illustrator: Alex T Smith

Milo’s mum looks ordinary, but he is convinced she has X-ray vision. She knows when he’s up to mischief, even if she’s in another room.

He tests his theory by hiding in her wardrobe and waiting for her to ‘see’ him there. But mum doesn’t come! He agrees with his friend Lola that his mum is just an ordinary mum after all.

However, while he was hiding, Milo couldn’t see what the reader could. With her X-ray vision, mum sees an old lady fall from a window, transforms into super-mum and saves the old lady from certain death.

A humorous and perceptive story with bright, cheerful illustrations. The book includes a pair of Logospex that make patterns when viewing certain lights.
