Let's Save the Animals

An innovative book which can be accessed on a number of reading levels.

Each colourful spread features one of ten endangered species, with a boldly printed statement for beginner readers swirling across the page. 

By lifting the flap another aspect of the creature’s life is revealed, with a continuation of the statement, and in (very) small print a single sentence explanation of the conservation need for the animal.

Images are accurate, but each has a friendly face making it appealing to the youngest reader.

The final spreads are ingenious, first a black page overlaid by a white one with cut-outs of each creature. When the white page is turned, we face an empty black page, with the words ‘…gone forever’.
