Tassie and the Black Baron
by Katie Roy
Tassie's family have a history of being forcibly removed from public monuments. No family outing is ever straightforward and her trip to Huffington Castle looks like being no exception.
As she is brooding over the unfairness of an evil, medieval Baron snatching Huffington from his wimpy cousin and subjecting the serfs to decades of misery, Tassie is transported back in time and gets the chance to rewrite history; but only if she can come up with a plan to help drippy, peace-loving poet Prince Billy defeat his malevolent rival!
A simple plot is expertly executed, helped along by a vibrant cast of characters and a good dose of humour.
