Ovid and Lorelli Thornthwaite, come from a long line of murderers, or so they have been led to believe. Indeed, they have spent their early years trying to do away with each other.

The twins decide to call a truce and discover the truth about their parent’s deaths, but when the threats to their own lives continue – poisonings, killer bees, and an attack by a bear – it’s not long before they suspect something even more sinister is afoot.

Thornthwaite Manor hosts a classic cast of suspects: gardener, butler, cook and lawyer. And then, of course, beyond the Manor grounds, there are the disaffected townsfolk...

A slightly satirical spin on the upper-class who-dunnit, complete with extremely convoluted denouement.
