If I Were You

by

Richard Hamilton
Illustrated by Babette Cole

Dad’s putting Daisy to bed. What would life be like if they swapped places?

She would read him a story and leave him to go downstairs. He would wake her by bouncing on her in the morning. Daisy would dress Dad in a pink tutu and make him eat porridge, but Dad would lie around watching TV while Daisy did all the housework.

In spite of having fun pushing Dad to the park in a pushchair, in the end Daisy decides she would rather be herself and Dad leaves her to go to sleep.

The illustrations are lively, humorous and detailed in this rhyming bedtime story, perfect to share in particular for Dads and daughters.
