Mr Pusskins Colours

by Sam Lloyd

The incorrigible marmalade cat, Mr Pusskins, has returned, now introducing basic concepts in his own inimitable style in a simple board book format.

Orange Mr Pusskins wakes up, goes through a red door into the yellow sunshine and romps in the green jungley garden, there he encounters brown mud, is given a bath by long-suffering owner, Emily, dried in a pink towel and then dozes off in the blackest of nights.

As well as introducing basic colours – and telling a simple story – this book also wittily encompasses a range of emotions, as Mr Pusskins experiences playful exuberance, contrition in the face of Emily's wrath and finally reconciliation.

A great introduction to colours, simple stories and relationships – all in twelve pages!
