Say Hello

by

Jack Foreman and Michael Foreman

Everyone feels left out and lonely sometimes but when it happens all the time, life can be miserable. A welcoming smile and one little word, 'Hello', might be all it takes to make someone feel they belong.

For such a simple picture book with minimal rhyming text, it is unusual to pack such a powerful message. But with its positively stark, yet stunning, illustrations 'Say Hello' does just that. Youngsters will be able to identify with the terrible sadness of exclusion, and the great joy of belonging and being included.

This wonderful book should be a compulsory part of every home and school library. A touching book with simple, powerful images and an important message about inclusion. 'When someone's feeling left out, low, it doesn't take much to say hello.'
