Little Bear and the Wish Fish

A new humorous take on ancient stories, which provides a salutary message for small people (and big) who are always saying ‘I wish…’ without thinking of the consequences!

Although the bears lead a delightful and charmed life, and every kind of weather is perfect for something, they are not content, complaining whether it is wet, snowing or sunny.

When the weather-makers discover this, they decide to teach them a lesson by taking each wish literally. Page by page we see each bear regret his foolish wish for something different, until the Wish Fish convinces them that their former life was perfect.

Delightfully detailed, funny illustrations filled with colour and swirling patterns are paired with a poetic text, which will engage young readers.
