Another delightful picture book by John Prater. Tim is in his den with three of his friends, and each one tells a story of how brave they are.
Billy was brave enough to go out into the dark night and retrieve his football from the goblins, Millie dived deep into the sea and swam on the back of a shark to find her lost shoes, while Suki climbed to the top of the world to get her sweets back from a wily dragon.
But the bravest of all is Tim, who hasn't been anywhere at all, but has something rather scary in his hand! A great book for sharing and reading aloud, with wonderful illustrations.

John Prater
John Prater studied art in Portsmouth and Brighton and worked as a teacher for many years before turning his attention to children's books. His first book, On Friday Something Funny Happened, was shortlisted for the Mother Goose Award in 1982.
