Scaredy Cat and Boo

by

Illustrator: Michael Broad

How can Scaredy Cat overcome all his fears, when he has so many? He's scared of everything – creaking floorboards, cuddly toys, his own shadow and worst of all, the garden monster who taps on the window.

Luckily, Boo, a friendly mouse, lures him outside to play hide and seek in the flowerbeds, dance to the birdsong and even climb the monster tree. Then Scaredy Cat realises that new experiences can be really fun.

Colourful comic illustrations leap out of this charming book which encourages children to realise that their fears aren't usually as big as they imagine. An entertaining story in its own right, this will empower those for whom new people, dark cupboards or even spiders are downright terrifying!
