Baggy Brown

Baggy Brown is a very special toy bear. He is due to be presented to a baby princess with a big crying problem. However, he is accidentally chewed up and ejected by a machine in the toy factory.

Picked up by one of the workers, he is taken home and loved by a little boy called Alfie. Alfie discovers that his bear really belongs to the princess so he takes a long trip to the palace. The princess falls for Alfie rather than Baggy Brown and she stops crying. Alfie gets to keep his bear, play with the princess and years later he marries her.

This is a simple happy tale of love and friendship with Mick Inkpen's unique big, bright pictures.
