Wendel's Workshop
by Chris Riddell
Wendel is a very clever mouse and a brilliant inventor. He is also incredibly untidy and simply throws his inventions away if they don't work.
When his first attempt at inventing a tidying robot goes wrong he sends it down the rubbish chute and builds another one - a Wendelbot.
The Wendelbot seems to be a great success but when it won't stop tidying and even puts Wendel himself in the reject bin, something drastic has to be done so Wendel can get his workshop back.
Chris Riddell's characteristically lively and intricate illustrations give real verve to a funny and appealing story with a subtle environmental message.
