Jessy and Tom love playing games on their family's ancient, comfy big blue sofa. One day it's a submarine, the next a hospital bed and the next a hot air balloon.
Then one day Tom goes one bounce too far and all the springs break. What are they to do? Will a new sofa ever be as much fun as their lovely old blue one?
This book is compulsively strokeable, with the sofa's velvety floral design featuring in 3D on every spread. The sofa is a character in its own right, and the fact that the reader can touch it is really effective. This is a warm, bouncy story with an original 'touch and feel' element.

Tim Hopgood
Tim Hopgood lives with his wife and cats in North Yorkshire. He is a graduate of Kingston University and worked for 20 years as a graphic design and freelance illustration. Tim's first book, Our Big Blue Sofa, was published in 2006 and in 2008 he was the winner of the Best Emerging Illustrator Award at the Booktrust Early Years Awards.
