Mr Pusskins

by Sam Lloyd

Mr Pusskins is a cosseted cat, much-loved by his owner Emily. Despite his owner's loving attention, Mr Pusskins is not grateful, and dreams of finding excitement away from the confines of his comfortable life. The spoilt cat escapes and initially finds himself having 'such naughty fun' without Emily.

But soon Mr Pusskins starts to miss the luxurious life he has left behind and realises the importance of Emily's love. All he now wants is to be reunited with his owner but will he be able to find her again?

Humorous, lively illustrations accompany the text in this unconventional love story, which is also a lesson in not taking people for granted. A deserving winner of the 2006 Booktrust Early Years Award for Best Pre-School Book.
